At RetroForge Supply, we build our business on transparent, professional manufacturing practices. This page explains how we approach intellectual property (IP) in every custom project, so that you — our B2B partners, distributors, and brand owners — can order with confidence.

What We Manufacture

Our services fall into two categories:

Manufacturing based on your own IP. The majority of our work is OEM/ODM production built around assets our clients own or control: your original game titles, your brand artwork, your custom shell molds, labels, and packaging designs. If you created it or properly licensed it, we can manufacture it.
Compatible hardware for legacy and classic platforms. We produce cartridges, PCBs, and accessories that are compatible with decades-old classic gaming hardware and form factors (such as NES, SNES, N64, Game Boy, GBA, and Genesis/Mega Drive cartridge formats). These are our own independently engineered, unbranded components — designed to work with aging original hardware so that collectors, retailers, and service businesses can keep classic platforms alive.

What We Do Not Do

Reproduce or print trademarked logos, characters, or artwork from current or popular game franchises without the rights holder's authorization
Use unlicensed characters or branding in any product images, mockups, or marketing materials on this website
Manufacture counterfeit or replica versions of branded retail products
Bundle or pre-load copyrighted games we have no right to distribute

Our product photography on this site shows generic, unbranded components precisely for this reason.

Your Responsibilities as a Client

When you supply project files — including ROM images, artwork, logos, packaging designs, or any other materials — for manufacturing, you confirm and warrant that:

You own the intellectual property rights to those materials, or
You hold a valid license or authorization from the rights holder to use them for production

Responsibility for the legal right to use client-supplied files rests with the client. We rely on the accuracy of your declarations when accepting and producing orders. If a project involves third-party IP, we encourage you to secure written authorization before submitting files — this protects your business as much as ours.

Quality Beyond Compliance

IP diligence is one part of a broader commitment: consistent quality control, documented production processes, and honest communication about materials, lead times, and capabilities. We would rather tell you what we can't do than deliver something that puts your business at risk.
